1. Who we are
Orbit X is a subscription membership operated in Nigeria. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Orbit X" mean the operator of this service; "you" means the person holding a membership. Contact: getorbitx@gmail.com.
2. What the membership is
A membership entitles you to one curated box per 30-day cycle, on the track you selected, for as long as your membership is active and paid. The first box is the Welcome Vault; subsequent boxes are Replenishment Drops.
Contents vary and are curated by us. We publish the items in the current box and the retail value of each. One item per box is deliberately not announced before delivery. Where a published item becomes unavailable we substitute an item of equal or greater stated retail value, and we tell you when we have done so.
Stated retail values are the prices those items are sold for individually by Nigerian retailers at the time of publication. They are a description of value, not a price you have paid or an amount refundable in cash.
3. Recurring billing — your consent
By completing checkout you authorise us to charge the card you provided, through Paystack, on a recurring basis:
- ₦49,000 (Black) or ₦47,000 (Rose) today, for the Welcome Vault;
- then ₦35,000 every 30 days, until you cancel;
- or, if you chose a prepaid pass, a single payment of ₦107,000 (3 months) or ₦205,000 (6 months), after which the ₦35,000 monthly charge resumes unless you cancel.
We email you before each recurring charge. You may cancel at any time from your account, and cancelling before a billing date prevents that charge. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email; a price change never applies to a cycle you have already paid for, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Your card details are held by Paystack, not by us. We store only a payment token that can be used solely to charge your membership.
4. Delivery
We dispatch on the 15th and 30th of each month to addresses within Nigeria. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; third-party couriers are outside our control. Risk in the items passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.
Keeping your address current is your responsibility. Where a delivery fails because the address or phone number you supplied is wrong or unreachable, we will re-send once at our cost and thereafter at yours.
5. Your account
One membership per person. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
6. Cancellation
Either of us may end the membership. Your rights and ours are set out in full in the cancellation and refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
Boxes are for personal use. You may not resell box contents commercially, misrepresent your identity or address, or attempt to obtain multiple founding-member discounts. We may cancel a membership obtained in breach of this and refund anything undelivered.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable Nigerian law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the membership is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Products, allergies and skin. Grooming and skincare items can cause reactions. We publish ingredients and ask about allergies at checkout, and you should keep that information current. Stop using an item that causes a reaction and tell us; we will credit or replace it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to active members at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing your membership after that date is acceptance. The date at the top of this page is always the current version.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would much rather settle it by email first — getorbitx@gmail.com.
