It has a screw-down crown and is water resistant to 30 meters. The back of the case is sapphire, letting you see the movement. The dial is sunburst blue and openworked with fine laser-cut strips. This design shows the mainplate and bridges beneath, giving a subtle depth. The hour markers are white gold applied batons with a white luminescent coating. The hands are also white gold rounded batons with the same luminescent coating.

The 5840P-001 is a perpetual calendar. It displays the hours, minutes, day, date, month, and leap year. It also has a 24-hour indication and moon phases. The strap is a navy blue composite with a fabric pattern and cream stitching. It fastens with a Cubitus fold-over clasp, made of platinum.
